Our review of Unibet Web App

Unibet is a Nordic online betting & casino company based in Malta and has been operating since 1997. In 2010 it opened its business to the mobile and tablet market with specialised websites for 3G and GPRS networks. Today, specialised Apps have been released which deal with Android, Iphone and Tablets specifically.

I started by searching for the mobile website on Google from my Samsung Galaxy S3 but it took me a while to find the 'touch screen compatible' website as it wasn't first on the list as I thought it would be. When going through the site your options are pretty clear, you can bet on sports, table games, slots and regular games. By clicking on the sports tab on unibet mobile, you are directed to a simple list of available sports with a 'Live Right Now' tab which allows you to bet on current games.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that Unibet mobile is very football focused, hence if it isn't your sport you won't be too thrilled about the website. On the other hand, Unibet's odds are considered quite advantageous compared to similar websites so it shouldn't be disregarded when looking to bet your cash. The web application allows you to browse the events on offer and even lets you create a bet slip with single or multiplier bets before registering or logging in, which is a plus if you just want to look around. Adding and removing events from your bet slip is easy and could be done with a few quick taps on the screen. Furthermore, if you do wish to place a bet, registering is quite straightforward and could be done with little fuss. When depositing money into your account, options are a bit basic with the pleasant Credit/Debit card option, Neteller and a surprising phone option with their call support team depositing the money on your behalf, toll free. However, there is a minimum deposit of €10 and the opportunity of getting up to £20 in a risk free bet refund when opening a new account with any of the previous options.

To conclude, Unibet mobile isn't as graphically sophisticated as its competitors or as feature packed, which is somewhat of a letdown coming from such a sound bookmaker. Nevertheless, it makes up for its deficiencies by having a good support team which are ready to help you on the phone or by chatting online (but not on the mobile) in a number of foreign languages.
