Our review of Skybet Web App

If you are familiar with their regular website, it's easy to see that Skybet have created an extension to that concept on your mobile device carrying the stylish graphics, high quality content and familiar icons to create an attractive betting application. The Webpage can be accessed by downloading their App for Iphone and Android or simply searching it on your internet browser.

On the homepage of the mobile application, four main Tabs dominate the screen leading you to 'Football', 'Horse Racing', 'All-Sports' and 'Sky Vegas' ( Sky's online casino branch). Yet, whilst scrolling through the site pages I quickly realised that other popular sports are catered for but the choice of bets are not as vast as football and horse racing which seem to be the site favourites. For football fans, the main tab leads you to a list of live & daily games together with the choice of betting on your favourite leagues with plenty of bet combinations.

Skybet mobile offer advantageous odds and are known for innovative betting options when it comes to big, popular sporting events. Betting is easy with the option of betting on different sports and events being automatically added to the betslip. However I found it to be somewhat tricky to place multiplier bets as the website doesn't make use of traditional coupon-style bets as seen on other mobile applications.

When registering, international punters may find a problem as only customers from the UK, Ireland, Bulgaria, Finland & Gibraltar are accepted. However a free £10 is given to new registrations! £5 of it is given to you without even needing to deposit a penny, the rest is given when depositing your minimum first £5. Skybet mobile also gives you the chance to earn points through their SkySports loyalty scheme. Deposit options are the usual Visa credit/debit cards, Mastercard & Maestro. The odds are displayed in fractions with no option of switching to decimals, this is a little bothersome if you have become used to the latter.

All in all, Skybet mobile makes for a fun and sleek companion where ever you are, more so if you are watching your sports on Sky. The superior graphics prove it to be on top of its competitors although sometimes it seems a bit hesitant to go from one page to another, this is a small price to pay as it isn't the first time I caught myself going through it even after I've placed my bets!
